TYPEFACE COMPARISON POSTER
This is a project of of a typeface comparison poster between the sans-serif fonts Mr Eaves XL and Futura. I chose to compare two sans-serif fonts so that I could explore and expose the minute differences between these two typefaces that appear almost identical at first glance.
Ideation
I started out by overlapping the typefaces to identify similarities and differences like x-height, ascenders and descenders, terminals, shoulders, and tails. Due to the fact that Mr Eaves XL and Futura appear to be very similar, I found it difficult to highlight their differences effectively at first.

When I started sketching, I used the comparisons I had established during ideation as featured elements of my poster design.
